How to get discount (travel credit) from Airbnb

I have been using Airbnb as a guest since 2013, and have been a host since 2015. Airbnb has always been my first choice of accommodation when traveling.

So here's a tip on how to get USD20 off when traveling and USD50 when hosting.

For new Airbnb user:

1. Click on the above link 'Sign up to claim your credit'
2. Sign up

For existing Airbnb user:

1. Create new account using different e-mail address
2. Sign up

After signing up, you can click the icon on the top right and view the travel credit. The discount will be deducted automatically when you travel.

Disclaimer:

1. Discount will only be given when your booking's base fee is $75. Anything lower will not be given any discount.
2. This discount can only be used once, and for a property costing $75 base fare.
3. $75 does not mean price per night. You can sleep for $30/night for 2 days, and get discount for that
